With over 45 years of experience with Clients in investment banking he leads our liability management and corporate restructuring for financially stressed situations and our corporate investigations and litigation support and investment activities. He is also particularly active in Mergers and Acquisitions and disposals for publicly traded and privately held business entities.

He graduated from Oxford University in 1977 and obtained an MSc from the City University Business School, London. He joined the First National Bank of Boston, where he spent a year in a formal credit analysis programme in London and Boston, and two years in the specialist lending division.

He served as a member of the Dual Filing Advisory Group of the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong.

In 1982 he returned to Hong Kong and spent six years in corporate finance, first with Wardley Limited and then with Citicorp International Limited, where he was a director. While at Wardley and Citicorp he was responsible for numerous complex loan and investment recoveries and corporate rescues. Since then he has also been active in a wider range of corporate finance activities, particularly valuations, particularly mergers and acquisitions and company sales and litigation support.

Christopher is an avid reader and bibliophile in history, philosophy, theology and biography and is fascinated by horology.

He has built a fine collection of rare timepieces from around the world.
