He graduated from the London School of Economics, where he obtained a law degree in 1972, and qualified as a barrister in England before joining Robert Fleming & Co Limited in London in 1977.

He has spent over 30 years in corporate finance in Asia

He arrived in Hong Kong in 1980, first with Jardine Fleming, where he was a director, and then five years with Standard Chartered Asia Limited, where he was managing director of corporate finance.  He joined Anglo Chinese in 1999 and retired as the Head of Corporate Finance in 2019 but has remained a Senior Adviser of the firm and is a director of our London based subsidary.

He was a member of the Listing Committee of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong and has served as a member on the Hong Kong Panel on Takeovers and Mergers, the Hong Kong Standing Committee on Company Law Reform and the Dual Filing Advisory Group of the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong.Dennis is an experienced horseman and has competed internationally.
